Beginner Program (Weeks 1-8)

Goals

  • Captains of Crush Trainer or Sport gripper
  • Basic pinch block (1-2 inches)
  • Fat grips or thick bar

Weekly Schedule

Monday: Gripper Training

  • 3 sets of 8-12 reps with Trainer gripper
  • Focus on proper form and control
  • 2-3 minutes rest between sets

Wednesday: Pinch Training

  • 3 sets of 5-8 reps with 1-inch pinch block
  • Start with bodyweight, add weight gradually
  • 3-4 minutes rest between sets

Friday: Thick Bar Training

  • 3 sets of 5-8 reps with fat grips
  • Use 50-70% of your normal deadlift weight

Progression

  • Various pinch blocks (1-3 inches)
  • Multiple rolling handles
  • Competition-specific equipment

Monday: Heavy Gripper Training

  • 3 sets of 1-3 reps with No. 2 gripper
  • 2 sets of 5-8 reps with No. 1.5 gripper
